Pastor Scott's Corner
Pastor Scott Adkins is a certified LCMC Lutheran pastor. He was ordained in July 2016 and served for six years at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Dresser, Wisconsin before joining us at Salem Lutheran. He graduated from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN with a Master of Divinity in 2015 and from the University of St. Thomas, also in St. Paul, MN, with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2011. He also serves as a Chaplain in the Minnesota Army National Guard, where he proudly serves our state and nation by providing spiritual support to our soldiers wherever they are serving. Pastor Scott has a wonderful family. His wife of 14 years, Amanda is a Lutheran educator that currently teaches at King of Kings Lutheran School in Roseville, MN. He has two rambunctious children, Katie (7) and Peter (11). He enjoys watching Star Wars movies, playing video and board games, reading historical fiction, and going on adventures with his family.
